2026 Father’s Day Freebies and Fatherhood Resources in Kent County

Father’s Day is Sunday!

We’ve rounded up some fun deals around West Michigan to make his day special:

  1. West Michigan White Caps:  Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Family SundaysFirst 1,000 kids 12 and under eat FREE, Pre-game player autographs and catch on the field, Kids Run The Bases post-game!
  2. River Town Crossing Mini Golf: Celebrate Father’s Day weekend with a little friendly competition at the Rivertown Father’s Day Open! This free event is open to all ages—come tee up and celebrate Dad in style!
  3. Meijer LPGA Classic:  The 12th annual Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give will take place at Blythefield Country Club June 18-21, 2026. The tournament will welcome fans back to West Michigan with a week full of world-class golf and family-friendly events. Fathers receive free general admission on Sunday, June 21.
  4. Bricks and Minifigs Grand Rapids: Minifigs with Dad! Celebrate Father’s Day with a special activity just for kids & dad! Kids who bring their dad to Bricks & Minifigs Grand Rapids Buy 1, Get Dad’s fig free! Dad’s Fig gets a special Father’s Day minifig stand for free.
  5. Grand Rapids Children’s Museum: Spend the day at play! Free admission for all dads, grandpas, and father-figures all day on Father’s Day (11:00 AM- 4:00 PM).

Dads Count Coalition: When fathers are involved with their children there are many benefits for themselves, their children, their families, and the wider community.The mission of Dads Count! is to encourage and assist fathers in their involvement, responsibility, and commitment towards the well-being of their children.
  2. Strong Fathers/ Padres Fuertes: A fatherhood and family support program in West Michigan designed to empower African American and Latino men in raising healthy children.
  3. All Things Fatherhood: Our mission at All Things Fatherhood is to advance the conversation centered around fatherhood, while providing social support for fathers, with the intent to help bridge the gap of fatherlessness in future generations.
