Trauma Informed Care Training

Bringing the community together to gain a deeper understanding of trauma and resilience.

Trainings and events open to Kent County parents, caregivers, organizations, and community members.

Trainings Offered

Our Lunch and Learn Series invites members of the community to come together and gain knowledge on topics that impact our collective community. This series is open to all community members. These are weekly sessions in a 6-week series focusing on a specific topic impacting our community. The sessions will be taught by Family Futures staff as well as guest presenters from organizations in our community. Click the link below to register for upcoming series.

We are working to build a Community of Practice to create an intentional space for diverse voices in our community to share knowledge collaboratively. Our focus will be on integrating programs and breaking down silos that can enable us to effectively implement strategies across agencies. Stay tuned for more information.

We offer monthly trainings on the topics of “Understanding Trauma and Practicing Resilience” and “Mind-Mindedness.” These training topics alter by month and training times also vary. Contact the Trauma and Resilience Coordinator at the button below for more information.

This is personalized trauma-engaged practice with application modules and coaching tailored to your needs. Scroll down to the “Contact Program Coordinator” button below to learn more information.

We provide onsite and virtual training sessions for community organizations. The trainings are normally 30-60 minutes with flexibility around an organization’s needs. Each training is interactive, focusing on creating conversation around trauma & resilience and giving organizations a platform to learn and grow together.
