SUMMARY:🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Trunk or Treat for Lead Defect
DESCRIPTION:Join Healthy Homes Coalition of West Michigan for their annual Trunk or Treat for Lead Defeat! \nHeld during National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week\, we will teach you about what lead is\, where it is\, and what you can do about it. Come for the games\, raffle prizes\, donuts\, cider and candy\, leave with knowledge about lead poisoning prevention! Some other highlights to look forward to: \n\nFamilies will have the opportunity to have their children’s blood lead levels tested (parents must bring their ID and their child’s insurance card)\n\n\nFamilies can also bring soil samples from their home gardens to be tested for lead (soil must be 2-3 cups of dry soil brought in a clean quart-sized zip bag)\n\n\nThere will be over 20 community organizations present\n\n\nThe first 20 people to arrive will receive a free air purifier (only one per household and an adult must be present to claim the air purifier) \n\n  \nFollow our Facebook Page for more information!
