Family Resource Center

Family Futures is designated as a Family Resource Center (FRC) through Children’s Trust Michigan, a member of the National Family Support Network.

What Is An FRC?

Family Resource Centers serve as welcoming hubs of community services and opportunities designated to strengthening families.

Their activities and programs, typically provided at a no to low cost to participants, are developed to reflect and be responsive to the specific needs cultures, and interests of the communities and populations served.

Working with a Family Resource Center

As an FRC, Family Futures provides a variety of services to ensure a comprehensive assessment of family needs. Services are not limited to a specific population; we can assist all types of families with children of any age.

Our new mobile changing and nursing station dedicated to the memory of our friend and co-worker Joslyn Ward is more than just a changing room – it’s a commitment to families in West Michigan.

Parent Cafés are safe spaces where people can talk and listen to each other on topics that matter to them, from sharing challenges and victories of raising a family to navigating landscapes of inequity.

In Cafés, every voice is valued, and everyone has the opportunity to both learn and lead.
