The Grand Rapids Public Library announced Black History Month programming for kids, teens, and adults that highlight and celebrate our Black community.
Join them on Saturday, February 22nd from 11am-12pm for Black History Live with Culture Queen. An immersive and engaging performance designed for children, combining original, interactive music, movement, and storytelling to help children embrace their history and love themselves. Designed for ages 6-13.
Culture Queen’s captivating personality and creative approach to cultural education invites children to celebrate everything that makes them unique. By the end, kids will leave with a newfound confidence, cultural pride, and curiosity about the world.
